Lip Stick vs Lip Gloss

The female population is divided between gloss lovers and lipstick devotees.

The Look
Lipstick: Deeply pigmented, no-doubt-about-it color. Whether you go for
a decadent red or a demure nude, the full-coverage effect is
ladylike and polished. The most common formulations are matte
and creamy, but new versions render a luminous finish because
the low to medium coverage also has the shine of a gloss.

Gloss: A single wave of the wand bestows a juicy, often sheer shade

            - plus a generous dose of sheen.

Where to Wear It
Lipstick: Ideal for evening, work, or anytime you want to look put together
                or "done."

Gloss: Weekends and nights out when you'd rather play up your eyes.
(Smoky lids with bold lips looks a little too beauty queen–ish.)

Pout Perks
Lipstick: Precise application ensures that your mouth looks defined
                - a bonus as you get older and lips become less pronounced.
Gloss: The sheer stuff makes your pucker appear fuller. Just a dab
of clear gloss on the center of your bottom lip creates a
            voluptuous effect.

Durability
Lipstick: The average lipstick stays put for two hours, less if you're
sipping lattes (steamy drinks melt away color-binding waxes) or
devouring potato chips (greasy foods require mouth wiping).

Gloss: Gloss is fleeting, but not all formulas have wanderlust.
For extra insurance, it's suggests moisturizing your lips with a
shea butter lip balm before topping them with gloss. The color
will adhere better to the balm's waxiness.

I prefer lip gloss, which is yours?
