Great Ginger

If you suffer from frequent headaches, forget the painkillers, ginger should be your new best friend. In Ayurveda, it is considered one of the best remedies for throbbing temples as it's a natural anti-nausea.

~ Migraines, take 2-4gm of ginger a day, in any form. Ginger tea is a popular option; simmer a few slices of fresh ginger in a cup of water for about 15 minutes (you can add honey and lemon juice) and down it while still warm.

~ Sinus headaches, dap a little ginger paste behind the ears, and before going to bed, drink a glass of warm milk mixed with 1 teaspoon of flaxseed.

~ Tension headaches, dilute half a teaspoon ginger paste in water and use it as a pain balm - simply apply to the forehead.

~ Temporal headaches, apply ginger paste to the forehead and sinuses.
