Snack snack snack...
Next time if you feel in need of a snack, try some of the following, which will be more healthier for you......
- wholemeal cracker (NOT cream cracker)
- freshly pressed vegetable or fruit juice, or smoothie
- low-fat yogurt with fruit, nuts and seeds
- a hand-full of nuts (almonds)
Well, those days my snack will be a cup of 3in1 coffee or a packet of Mamee Monster noodle snack......oh,i know it's really unhealthy!! Therefore, I've stopped it since half year ago, you should too! Stop those unhealthy snacks, but of course sometimes you need to "reward" yourself once, just ONCE!

Care for Better Vision
Our eyes are two of our most precious possessions - yet, all too easily, we can take good eyesight for granted. Always protect our eyes with these low-effort actions :
1) Always wear a properly fitting pair of swimming goggles when swim,
it will protect our eyes from chlorine.
2) Wear safety glasses while doing carpentry,it will prevent debris from
causing corneal abrasions.
3) Remember to remove eye makeup every night. This prevents small pieces
of the makeup from winding up in our eye, which could possibly scratch our
cornea.
4) Wear our stylish sun glasses whenever we leave to outdoor. This will block
out the harsh glare of the sun and also protect our eyes from the drying
effects of wind.
5) Eat fish twice a week because fish are a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids.
It's proven to reduce the risk of dry-eye syndrome.
6) Take a bilberry supplement every morning. The berries contain compounds
called anthocyanosides, which help protect the retina against macular
degeneration.
We should always be mindful about our health, don't ignore to check with our doctor for a full body check yearly...... " Prevention is better than Cure".

Stay Healthily, Stay Happily......
Essentially, there are 4 things we should monitor every day to make sure we are living healthily: whether we walked and were active(exercise); whether the amount of fruits and vegetables we ate are fresh produce; whether we got at least 15min of laughter and fun time for ourselves(relaxation); and whether we got enough grains, beans and other high-fiber foods. If you can say you did well on all 4, your day has been extremely healthy. But this doesn't apply if you spent the rest of the day say, drinking, smoking or eating junk foods.
Secondly, our sleepiness. There are 3 good ways to tell if we're not getting enough sleep. First, do we require an alarm clock to wake us up mostly every morning? Second, do we become drowsy/sleepy in the afternoon to the point that it affects what we're doing? Third, do we doze off shortly after eating dinner? If your answer to any of these is yes, then you need more sleep. And if you're getting enough sleep for about 6-8 hours daily and still have these troubles, talk to your doctor about your low energy.
Check our blood pressure every 6 months with a home blood pressure monitor or at a clinic. If the top number is more than 140(130 if you have diabetes) and the bottom number is higher than 90(80 for diabetes), wait a day, then recheck again. If it's still high, you should make an appointment with the doctor. And also if you're over aged 40, you can request for a full cardiovascular screening assessment(for future heart attack and stroke risk) with your doctor. You can also request one if you're under aged 40 with a strong family history of heart attack or stroke. Blood cholesterol levels are just one of several factors that need to be measured and accessed, along with smoking status, blood glucose level, ECG results and blood pressure. Measuring cholesterol alone is not enough, as other risk factors may be missed; normal cholesterol levels do not necessarily mean that your overall cardiovascular risk is normal. Do ask for an advise at your doctor's surgery.
Balanced your diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables and high-fiber foods. And spend at least 3-4 times a week of moderate exercise for optimal health.

Short Break
After a few days of holiday, myself feels like has been
fully charged!! During my holiday, I just filled my days with eating and sleeping.
Lives sometimes have to pause for a while to give some changes. Then to return
back to “lives” again…… I always tried to treat myself with some rewards after
my tired and bored live, either it’s a holiday, a yummy meal or just a small piece
of chocolate will do makes my days. How about you? Have you try to treat
yourself with some good things to cheer up your days? But I do……

Home Spa
Finally it comes to Friday,
after few days of hard work, have yourself a moment to pamper your body, make
do with some nice home styled spa treatment right at the comfort of your own
home!
Music : Arrange to have
music in your bathroom. The right soothing melodies can help melt away the
stress. Chill Out or Smooth Jazz may works wonders for you.
Lighting : Lighting the
room with scented candles can fill the area with a soothing scent and create a
very relaxing atmosphere.
Bath Products : Prepare
bath oils, bath salt and skin moisturising oils, and I recommend
Lavender-scent. With the scent, you are using the power of aromatherapy to
soothe you. You will feel your stress practically melting away! Remember to
breathe in the Lavender scent.
Beauty Treatments : Put on
a conditioning treatment for your hair and a purifying masque on your face.
Relax on to the tub.
After Tub Care : Apply a
rich conditioning cream to your skin for extra moisture.
Spa are no longer confined
to beauty therapies but is today’s modern centre of healing and nourishing the
body, mind and soul……

Yoga
Yoga is benefits both body and mind. It's said to help with common maladies like colds and body aches, plus it relieves tension and frustration. Yoga practitioners gain good posture, better blood circulation and endurance, plus self-confidence, calm and a positive outlook. Yoga are designed to strenghten the entire musculature in a balanced way too.
Choose a quite, airy place to practise yoga in the morning or at night, use a non-slip mat and wear comfortably. But DON'T practise for 1 to 2 hours after a light meal of 4 to 5 hours after a heavy meal.
I love Yoga, hope you guys will like it and benefits from learning yoga too.

Monday Blues....
Welcome to Monday. Do you have Monday Blues......?
For us, Monday is the first day of the week either to start to work or to go to school, but sometimes I heard somebody will said they hate Monday. But WHY?
Don't worry, just be happy, every seconds on Monday will be fine and it will be a Happy day!
And of course if we could manage our days with many activities other than our work or school, i'm sure we'll forget "Today is what day hah??"...Spend some time for exercise or gathering with some friends or family; treat yourself a good facial treatment or spa massage......Well or you can just head back home to have an early sleep, then by the time you wake up that'll be Tuesday!! Yeah......sigh :(
Don't hate Monday, Love our days......

My First Date With Rainbow
Hi, I'm Rainbow. To me, seeing a rainbow means something good will happened; Rainbow gives me miracles, gives me hopes......So each time when you see a rainbow, keep your fingers cross and make yourself a wish, you will never know, your wish may come true.
As I always do looking up to the sky each time after the rain, sometimes if I'm lucky I may see the Rainbow, and I'll feel so happy the whole day.
So guys, do always look up to the sky, someday you'll find a beautiful rainbow just right above you, but don't forget to make a wish.
Will share good things on my upcoming updates....cheers!
